Platinum trades internationally in US dollars per troy ounce. MarketsGrid converts that price into British pounds at the live USD/GBP interbank rate, cross-checked across two sources (the Daily reference rate (ECB) until it loads), so the GBP price moves with both the metal and the exchange rate. Local dealers quote their own prices, which include premiums, taxes and their own FX rate.
