What we collect

MarketsGrid runs without advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies. We record first-party usage events (for example which calculator was used or which comparison was viewed) tied to a daily-rotating hash of your IP address and browser identifier; the raw values are never stored, and the hash cannot be reversed or linked across days.

Server logs may hold IP addresses for security and rate limiting for a short retention period. Watchlists (My Grid) and holdings (My Vault) are stored only in your browser's local storage unless you explicitly create an account and opt into sync.

Alerts

If you create an email alert we store the email address, the alert rule and delivery history so the alert can be sent and managed. Every alert email contains a link to pause or delete the alert; deleting it removes the address.

Embedded widgets

Widgets embedded on other sites load data from MarketsGrid; we see the standard request metadata (IP, referrer) needed to serve and rate-limit them, and set no cookies.
